The City of Malibu and the Parks & Recreation Commission created the Jake Kuredjian Citizenship Award to recognize those outstanding individuals or group who give of their time and resources to enhance the quality of parks and recreation programs within the Malibu community. Past recipients of this award have demonstrated an ongoing concern and involvement in some aspect of recreation in Malibu, and demonstrated the highest levels of citizenship that made a lasting contribution to the community.
Completed nomination forms are due by Tuesday, March 31, 2026, and must be submitted by completing an online form. All nominations will be considered at a Regular Meeting of the Parks and Recreation Commission on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.
