The Malibu City Council will hold a virtual City Council meeting on Monday, April 13, 6:30 PM using video conferencing. The agenda and staff report will be posted in advance of the meeting on the Agenda Center.
“Even during this global and local crisis, as we all stay safe at home, please know that the City continues to work for you,” said Mayor Karen Farrer. “I hope everyone can join us for the virtual City Council meeting. Please stay safe and healthy, and take care of each other.”
The meeting will not have a physical location in order to reduce the risk of spreading novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and pursuant to the Governor’s Executive Orders N-25-20 and N-29-20 and the County of Los Angeles Public Health Officer’s Safer at Home Order (revised March 21, 2020). This is meant to slow the spread of coronavirus and protect our seniors and vulnerable people.
The meeting will be held as a group video meeting using Zoom and there will be opportunity to watch live video of the meeting and make public comment. All votes taken during this virtual meeting will be by roll call vote, and the vote will be publicly reported.
