Thursday, April 29, 6:00 PM

Caltrans, at the City of Malibu's request, will hold a virtual community meeting to present its upcoming Solstice Creek and Culvert Rehab project in Malibu. This project proposes to restore or replace damaged drainage culverts on Pacific Coast Hwy (PCH / State Route 1 (SR-1) to increase the service life, reduce the risk of plugging, and prevent erosion of the roadway backfill. The project also proposes that the culvert (Bridge No. 53-0030) at Solstice Canyon Creek be replaced to have the capability of fish passage. The project limits are from 0.4 miles south of Temescal Cyn Rd to 0.1 miles north of Tonga St.

Community members will have the opportunity to ask questions and give their input during the meeting. Anyone unable to attend may email questions or input by email to Alisa Almanzan at Caltrans at alisa.almanzan@dot.ca.gov.
