Get Information and Resources for Healthy Aging at
Malibu’s Free Health & Wellness Expo
(Malibu, CA) - Meet local healthcare providers and learn about healthy aging at the Malibu Senior Center’s free Health and Wellness Expo, Friday, October 14, 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Malibu City Hall.
“The Wellness Expo is one of the many ways that our Senior Center creates a vibrant community hub, offering seniors and adults opportunities to maintain and improve physical and mental well-being, life skills, and rich, active social lives,” said Mayor Lou La Monte.
The event will feature booths with medical doctors, natural care, and other senior health service providers offering valuable health and wellness information. Informational lectures in the Zuma Room include “What to Look For in a Caregiver,” by Ruthie Rosenberg of LivHome, Inc. at 11:00 AM; “Self-Care is the New Healthcare,” by Kathryn Ford of the Excellence Institute at 12:00 PM, “Medicare 2017,” by Elka Soussana & Shmuel Schwarts of Simpler Horizons at 12:00 PM.
All participants will receive a free raffle ticket for great prizes, with drawings taking place at 11:55 AM, 12:55 PM and 2:00 PM. Participants must be present to win.
The Malibu Wellness Expo takes place in the Multi-Purpose Room at Malibu City Hall, located at 23825 Stuart Ranch Road in Malibu.
