The Malibu Planning Department will hold two Rebuild Workshops and Consultations on March 28 and 31 with multiple departments and agencies providing assistance and resources to Malibu residents who are going through the rebuilding process following the Woolsey Fire.
Both workshops are open to anyone to attend. The workshop on Thursday, March 28, 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM, is geared toward professionals. The workshop on Sunday, March 31, 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM, is geared toward property owners.
Representatives from all the City departments of Planning, Building Safety, Geology, Biology, Public Works and Environmental Health as well as other agencies, including the L.A. County Fire Department, Waterworks District 29 and Southern California Edison will be participating. Each workshop will consist of brief updates from each department and a Q&A session, followed by open counter hours staffed by each department or agency for one-on-one project-specific consultations. No appointments are necessary.

Each workshop in City Hall will be immediately followed by specially scheduled open counter hours so that attendees can immediately take steps with staff to move their process forward.
