[ARCHIVED] Malibu Halloween Carnival & Free Outdoor Movie Brings Spooky Fun for Kids to Bluffs Park

Halloween Carnival

The City of Malibu Community Services Department presents the annual free Halloween Carnival and outdoor screening of the kid’s classic film “Goonies” on Friday, October 26, 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM at Bluffs Park. Join us for an afternoon of spooky fun for kids ages 2-10. Entertainment includes carnival games, bounce houses, art activity with the Malibu Library, a free giveaway form Zollipops, an interactive S.T.E.A.M demonstration with MakMo Mobilemaker, special modified soccer game with Super Soccer Stars, costume parades, Trunk-or-Treat Trail, an inflatable rock wall and a traveling magician! 


Purchase “Jack Bucks” $5 on the day of the event and use them for carnival games, an art activity and bounce houses. D’Amore’s Pizza will have pizza and salads available for purchase, and Dudes Coffee Truck will have a variety of hot and cold drinks for sale. The costume parades start at 3:30 PM and 4:30 PM. 


The Harry Barovsky Memorial Youth Commission will host a free screening of the movie “Goonies” starting at sunset. Seating is first-come, first-served. Bring blankets and chairs. Guests are encouraged to bring canned food items to benefit the Malibu Boys and Girls Club Thanksgiving Baskets Program. Alcohol and smoking are not allowed in the park.
