[ARCHIVED] Community Based Organizations Can Host Meetings on Future Vote Center Locations

Suggest a Voting Center location

DEADLINE EXTENDED TO JUNE 22 FOR organizations to apply to host COMMUNITY INPUT meetings

In 2020, the County of Los Angeles will transition from traditional polling places, which bind a voter to a single, in-person voting location on Election Day only, to Vote Centers, which will allow voters to cast a ballot at any Vote Center location in the County over an 11-day period. The County has extended the deadline to Friday, June 22, 2018, for organizations to submit an application to hold Grassroots Community Meetings regarding the Vote Center Placement Project. The Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk  (RR/CC) invites community groups to partner with them to conduct Grassroots Community Meetings to help identify Vote Center locations. Organizations can submit an application online at http://vsap.lavote.net/community-partnership-questionnaire

Individual members of the public can suggest Vote Center locations with the online portal through Fall 2018.
