CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) is a highly-acclaimed program of free courses administered by the City and public safety agencies that empowers citizens to provide assistance during disasters.
Participants are trained in basic first aid, fire suppression, and search and rescue, so that they are prepared to provide emergency assistance to their families and neighbors, particularly during disaster situations where professional public safety services may not be immediately available to respond.
To register for the January/February course or for more information, contact Public Safety Manager Susan Dueñas at 310-456-2489 ext. 313 or SDuenas@MalibuCity.org.
