Explore Malibu’s Winter Sports, Arts, Wellness, and Community Programs in the 2025–2026 Recreation Guide
REGISTRATION IS OPEN AS OF DECEMBER 1
From youth sports and outdoor adventures to arts, wellness, after-school programs, and lifelong learning, Malibu’s Winter 2025–2026 Recreation Guide and City Newsletter highlights a robust season of programs designed for residents of all ages. The digital edition is available at MalibuCity.org/CommunityServices, and printed copies were mailed directly to Malibu households.
“Winter in Malibu is a time to connect, recharge, and celebrate community,” said Mayor Marianne Riggins. “Whether you’re exploring our beautiful parks, participating in arts and wellness programs, or joining friends and neighbors at holiday events, our Community Services programs create lifelong memories. I encourage everyone to explore the Guide, you’re sure to find something that inspires you.”
These offerings reflect the City’s ongoing commitment to supporting a healthy, happy, and thriving community, which is especially important during Malibu’s fire recovery.
Programs running December through February include the annual Student Art Exhibit; resilience workshops offered in partnership with the RISE Institute at Pepperdine University; after-school programs with the Boys & Girls Club of Malibu; night hikes at Charmlee Wilderness Park; complimentary wellness workshops with The Mindry; poetry workshops with Malibu Poet Laureate Charlotte Ward; and Senior Center classes including choir, cardio salsa, and tai chi.
The Guide also features special events such as the Malibu Library Speaker Series, Breakfast with Santa, and Santa Paws – Holiday Pet Photos with Santa.
Registration for Winter Programs opened December 1 at MalibuCity.org/Register. Residents can conveniently register for programs and reserve facilities from any mobile device.
