DISCOVER MALIBU'S AWESOME PROGRAMS, CAMPS, SPORTS AND EVENTS IN THE Fall Recreation Guide & Newsletter
The Fall 2025 Recreation Guide and City Newsletter is now available online and will be mailed to Malibu residents the week of August 11.
The Guide showcases the City’s outstanding recreation programs, parks, and facilities, as well as informative articles and helpful contact information for City departments and services, and residents can sign up using the City’s new, innovative online registration platform.
Fall in Malibu is a wonderful time to get outside, get active, and enjoy some of the City’s excellent programs, classes, sports and events. From wellness workshops to free family-friendly community events, our programs help strengthen the connections that make Malibu such a special place as we continue to heal and recover from the wildfires.
Programs running September through November include afterschool programs in partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of Malibu, sunset hikes at Charmlee Wilderness Park, complimentary wellness workshops with The Mindry, Parent-and-Me programs, poetry workshops, and engaging Senior Center activities. The Guide also highlights upcoming special events such as the Malibu Library Speaker Series, Senior Resource Fair, and Halloween Bu Bash Carnival.
This season marks the launch of the City’s new partnership with Rec Technologies, introducing a modern, mobile-first online registration platform to make signing up more inclusive, intuitive, and convenient. Residents can now register for programs and reserve facilities from their cell phones, with new payment options including Google Pay and Apple Pay. Program participants can also check in using a personal QR code.
