Join the City of Malibu Arts Commission in Celebrating Local Artists and Malibu’s Surf Culture at the Opening Reception of “Coastal Reflections” - SUNDAY, JULY 13 AT THE MALIBU CITY GALLERY

The Malibu Arts Commission invites all of Malibu to join in the free, festive opening reception of the City’s summer public art exhibition, “Coastal Reflections,” on Sunday, July 13 at 12:00 PM at the Malibu City Gallery at City Hall.

“This exhibit is a beautiful reminder of how surfing and our coastal lifestyle have always inspired artists in Malibu,” said Mayor Marianne Riggins. “I hope everyone comes out to support our incredible local artists and celebrate the resilience, reflection, and connections that art creates.”

“Coastal Reflections” showcases original works in a variety of mediums by Malibu artists, honoring the City’s rich ties to the ocean and surf culture.

The opening reception is free and open to all. Guests will enjoy complimentary refreshments and the chance to connect with the artists and fellow art lovers in a vibrant, welcoming setting.

The exhibition runs July 14 through August 22 at the Malibu City Gallery at City Hall, 23825 Stuart Ranch Road. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, and admission is always free.
