[ARCHIVED] UPDATE - Water Use Restricted for all WWD29 Customers at least Through Wed night 2/22

Water use restricted to essential uses for Malibu customers Feb 21 - 22

UPDATE - Water Use Restricted to essential uses for all WWD29 Customers in Malibu AT LEAST THROUGH WEDNESDAY NIGHT, FEBRUARY 22 for ADDITIONAL WORK ON Water Main Repairs

All Los Angeles County Waterworks District 29 customers, including all of the City of Malibu, must restrict water use to essential drinking and sanitation needs at least through Wednesday night, February 22, due to additional work on LA County Public Works water main repairs. Customers are asked to turn off all landscape irrigation and to not fill swimming pools. WWD29 will notify customers directly when they can resume normal water use.

Water service will not be interrupted. However, there will be a shutdown of the transmission main, and water supply will be extremely limited during this period.

LA County Public Works will be connecting a new section of pipe to the existing transmission main along PCH from east of Temescal Canyon Rd to just west of Entrada Drive as part of the District No. 29 Malibu Branch Feeder 30-inch Realignment project.

Crews will be working along the northbound shoulder of PCH. The northbound right lane on PCH will be closed.

Customers were sent a direct notification from WWD29, and will receive a notification when they may resume normal water use.

For more information, call Waterworks District 29 877-637-3661 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM weekdays, or 800-675-4357 (HELP) after hours, or visit the webpage
