RECREATION GUIDE & NEWSLETTER IS NOW COMPLETELY DIGITAL
The Malibu Community Services Department's quarterly Recreation Guide and Newsletter that details upcoming programs and facility hours of operation is now completely digital, available on the City website to read, download, print and share. The Guide offers details to help the community enjoy the City's many excellent programs, classes, camps, events, sports and facilities, and also includes informative articles and contact information for City departments and services. The Recreation Guide was previously mailed to every household in City limits. Due to the uncertainty with the pandemic and continually changing guidelines from the County, the digital Guide effectively distributes accurate and updated program and department information in an environmentally sustainable way.
Due to COVID-19, a limited number of Community Service programs will be available with safety protocols in place. Program offerings are subject to change based on the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health guidelines. All staff and program participants will be health screened, temperature checked and asked to stay home if they are sick or experiencing a fever.
The City of Malibu adopted Ordinance No. 473 stating that all persons shall wear a face-covering over both the nose and mouth whenever they leave their place of residence. For face-covering descriptions, age requirements, medical exemptions, and activity-based exceptions please visit MalibuCity.org
