COVID-19 Holiday Safety Guidance
We know how hard it is that our cherished holiday celebrations with family will not be the same this year during the pandemic. The County Department of Public Health offered this guidance on how to safely celebrate the holidays, with lists of what is and is not permitted.
To help slow the spread of the coronavirus and protect the most vulnerable people, and prevent our healthcare resources from becoming overwhelmed, the County Department of Public Health announced that indoor and outdoor dining at restaurants, bars, wineries and breweries will not be allowed from Wednesday, November 25, 10 PM for a period of at least three weeks. That means takeout, drive-through and delivery only. For more information visit the LADPH website.
Public Health Officials also urge the public to avoid any unnecessary travel, and California, Washington and Oregon have implemented a travel advisory requiring 14 days of self-quarantine after arriving from out of state, or out of the country. For more information, see the travel advisory.
The California Department of Public Health has implemented a statewide Limited Stay at Home order in effect November 21 through December 21, requiring that all gatherings and activities with members of other households be conducted outside the home, and only between 5:00 AM and 10:00 PM. For more information, see the Order.
Thank you and please stay safe.
