NEW DEDICATED WEB PAGE FOr wireless communication facility ordinance (wcf) update
The City of Malibu is currently in the process of updating its Wireless Communication Facility (WCF) Ordinance, and is conducting widespread outreach, including launching a new dedicated information web page at www.MalibuCity.org/WCF. The City is also holding a series of virtual public outreach meetings to review the proposed ordinance and get community input, including a workshop, a Planning Commission Meeting and a City Council Meeting.
The City has also launched a dedicated webpage for all information related to the Wireless Communication Facility (WCF) Ordinance, at www.malibucity.org/WCF. Community members can find background information on the WCF Ordinance Update, including a project timeline, how to participate in upcoming WCF public meetings, access the pending WCF Applications Report, and learn how to submit comments and review records for pending WCF applications.
PUBLIC WORKSHOP DECEMBER 16
Give Your Input on the WCF Ordinance Update at the virtual public workshop Wednesday, December 16, at 6:00 PM. The workshop will include an overview of the existing City ordinance, federal and state regulatory frameworks for wireless facilities. Public comment may also be submitted by email to afernandez@malibucity.org.. All meeting information, agenda, and viewing and commenting instructions are located on the project web page.
