Flex vote center at bluffs park
The City of Malibu is hosting a Flex Vote Center on Saturday, October 24, 2020, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM at the Michael Landon Community Center at Malibu Bluffs Park (located at PCH and Malibu Canyon). The Flex Vote Centers offer all of the services and equipment found at Vote Centers, but on a scheduled basis with a special focus on meeting the needs of seniors, people experiencing homelessness and voters with disabilities. The Flex Vote Center offers voting services on a scheduled basis for voters with distinct needs that can be met with the new voting experience.

Beginning in March 2020, the County of Los Angeles replaced the traditional polling places with Regional Vote Centers located throughout the County where any registered LA County voter may cast a ballot over several days, rather than only on election day. On April 28, 2020, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors voted to start Universal Vote By Mail service, and will mail all registered voters a Vote by Mail ballot to ensure a safe and accessible voting option, regardless of whether they are registered to Vote By Mail. There are several ways to return your ballot: by mail, no postage necessary; in person at any Vote by Mail drop box location or any Vote Center in L.A. County. OFFICIAL BALLOT DROP BOX INFORMATION
In the 2020 Presidential General Election there are more than 400 secure Drop Boxes throughout the County as of October 5, giving voters a safe, accessible and contact-free method to return their ballot during COVID-19. Drop Boxes are available to voters October 5 through Election Day November 3 at 8:00 PM. Vote by Mail Ballots may be dropped in the secure Ballot Drop Boxes rather than being sent by US Postal Service.
The Ballot Drop Boxes are collected every 72 hrs. for security and are bolted into concrete or chained in plance, and have security features in line with State regulations. Each one has a QR code that you can scan, and a phone number you can call to verify in case you want to ensure it is a real, official LA County Ballot Drop Box.
There is a Ballot Drop Box located outside the Malibu Library (23519 West, Civic Center Way, Malibu, CA 90265). There are two in Topanga Canyon, one in Westlake Village and one in Agoura Hills. Ballot Return Checklist: Before you drop off your Vote by Mail Ballot make sure to place your voted ballot card(s) inside the Official Return Envelope; securely seal the Official Return Envelope; sign and date the back of the Official Return Envelope.
