[ARCHIVED] November 3, 2020 General Municipal Election Information

Election-Newsflash

Beginning in March 2020, the County of Los Angeles replaced the traditional polling places with Regional Vote Centers located throughout the County where any registered LA County voter may cast a ballot over several days, rather than only on election day. To find all of the Vote Centers in the County, visit: https://locator.lavote.net/locations/vc

The City’s General Municipal Elections are consolidated with Los Angeles County elections. This year three Councilmember seats and City Measure T will be on the ballot on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Visit www.malibucity.org/elections for more information.

On April 28, 2020, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors voted to start Universal Vote By Mail service, and will mail all registered voters a Vote by Mail ballot to ensure a safe and accessible voting option, regardless of whether they are registered to Vote By Mail. There are several ways to return your ballot: by mail, no postage necessary; in person at any Vote by Mail drop box location or any Vote Center in L.A. County.
