The City of Malibu is conducting its annual Tree Maintenance Program in several neighborhoods in Malibu Monday, June 22 through Tuesday, June 30, with work taking place from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The days and times may vary depending on actual time spent on each tree and weather conditions.
The goal of the Annual Tree Maintenance Program is to protect public safety by removing dead trees, grinding down stumps, trimming, pruning, line of sight clearance, etc. The proposed trees are within the City’s public right-of-way and the majority of the work will be along the street shoulders, but may require the use of flaggers on narrow residential streets in some instances.
