Bestselling Author and Ultramarathon Runner Dion Leonard to Headline next Malibu Library Speaker Series February 4
The City of Malibu and LA County Library are excited to welcome bestselling author and ultramarathon runner Dion Leonard as the next featured guest in the Malibu Library Speaker Series. Dion will talk about his bestselling book, “Finding Gobi,” on Wednesday, February 4, at 7:00 PM at the Malibu Library.
“Finding Gobi” is the inspiring, true story about Dion’s journey during a 155-mile ultra-marathon across the Gobi Desert in China, where he met Gobi, a small stray dog. This rare encounter quickly turned into a life-changing bond, as Gobi became Dion's companion every step of the way to the finish line. When the race ended, Gobi went missing, sparking a nationwide search to reunite the two.
