Free Holiday Tree Recycling - December 26 - January 11
Give your holiday tree a second life and help protect the environment! The City is offering FREE holiday tree recycling for the community from December 26 – January 11 at 23575 Civic Center Way (Chili Cook-off lot). All collected trees will be recycled into mulch. Recycling your tree keeps it out of landfills, where it would otherwise produce greenhouse gases that contribute to climate change. This program supports the City’s commitment to protecting the environment and creating a more sustainable community.
Hours:
- Mon – Fri: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Sat & Sun: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Closed December 31 – January 1 in observance of the New Year’s holiday
Please remove before recycling:
- Water containers
- Metal stands
- Ornaments, tinsel & lights
Curbside option: Cut the tree to fit in your green waste bin and remove all decorations, especially metal. Thank you for helping to keep our community green!
