County Grants Now Available for Malibu Businesses Impacted by Wildfires - Applications Accepted July 23 - August 22

The Los Angeles County Department of Economic Opportunity and Supervisor Horvath have launched the Malibu-Topanga Business Interruption Fund to support small businesses affected by the closures of Pacific Coast Highway and Topanga Canyon Boulevard following the January 2025 windstorms and wildfires.

This new fund is designed to provide financial assistance to help businesses recover lost revenue and continue operations during the County’s economic recovery.

If your business is located in Malibu or Topanga (zip codes 90265 or 90290), you may be eligible to receive a grant of up to $20,000. To qualify, businesses must:

    Must be a small business with under $6,000,000 in revenue and fewer than 100 employees

    Must have incurred 10%+ revenue loss year over year between the months of January and May

    Must be a brick-and-mortar business with a storefront or conduct business through in-person services

Applications are open from Wednesday, July 23 through Friday, August 22, so don’t miss this opportunity to access recovery funds and keep your business moving forward.
