The City of Malibu presents Superheroes, an art exhibition created by students from Our Lady of Malibu School. The exhibition portrays superhero role models with extraordinary powers who do something good for the world. Our Lady of Malibu Art Teacher Justine Petretti discussed the importance of role models and inspired students to create their unique version of a superhero.
The City of Malibu presents "Art Voyagers," an exhibition created by students in grade 12 from Malibu High School. Students created a variety of digital designs, PSA posters, word art, phone graphics, and works that paid homage to Chuck Close, an artist noted for his highly inventive techniques used to paint the human face. Art courses were led by Malibu High School Art Teacher, Carla Bowman Smith.

The Senior Center is offering wellness checks to any senior who would like to be called during the safer-at-home order. If you know a senior who could use a social wellness check, please contact Katie Gallo at (310) 456-2489 ext. 357 to add them to the list.
Physical distancing is important, but it could also affect the mental health of the elderly, isolating them when they may need assistance the most. These wellness check phone calls will continue throughout the safer-at-home order and let elderly residents know they are not alone.
