Virtual Library Resources and Programming
LA County Library is offering various services and virtual programs, while our locations are closed to the public.
The digital book collections through OverDrive offers students the opportunity to check out up to 15 digital books at a time, and Hoopla allows 8 checkouts per month. These download to an e-device and automatically get returned after three weeks, so there are no late fees.
LA County Library's online virtual programs, with a different theme each day: Maker Mondays, Transformation Tuesdays, Wellness Wednesdays, Arts & Culture Thursdays, Fun Fridays, and Stories & More Saturdays. We also have online virtual storytimes, Monday through Thursday at 11 a.m. on the LA County Library Facebook page.
An LA County Library card is needed for students to access our online resources and databases, such as BrainFuse and Learning Express, which offer services such as free live online homework help and test preparation assistance. More information on programs and services can be found online at LACountyLibrary.org; also follow us on social media, @lacountylibrary, via Instagram, Facebook, or YouTube.
