Local Traffic & Emergency Information
The City of Malibu offers its residents and visitors current updates to traffic and emergency situations through several outlets:

  • Disaster Notification System:  In the event of a emergency situation that poses imminent threats to public health and safety, or when evacuations are ordered, the City of Malibu will utilize the Everbridge® mass notification system to notify the community. All landline phone numbers in the city limits are automatically entered into the Everbridge database. Residents and businesses are urged to create a profile in the Everbridge system to register additional cellphone (voice and/or text message), home or work phones, or email addresses to receive time-sensitive emergency messages on multiple devices, no matter where you are. In the event of an emergency or serious road conditions, these subscription lists may be used by the City to send timely updates to those residents. Sign up for one more more subscription lists.
