Bob Brager has served as the City’s Public Works Director and City Engineer since July 2006. Bob earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from California State University, Fresno, School of Engineering, and his Juris Doctor Degree in Law from the Southern California Institute of Law. Bob has been a Board Registered Civil Engineer in the State of California for more than 22 years. His experience in civil engineering spans more than 30 years, both in the private consulting and public sectors, designing, managing, and constructing public works projects, such as bridges and highways, building structures, water and wastewater plants, large diameter pipelines, pumping stations, and water storage tanks for public agencies in Southern California. Bob has continuously served on the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s Technical Advisory Committee and Streets and Freeways Subcommittee for more than 10 years.
