Lisa Soghor, Assistant City Manager, previously served as the Deputy Executive Officer and Chief of Developed Resources for the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority (MRCA) since 1995. She has an extensive background in senior management, administration, finance, human resources, capital projects, facility management, and environmental issues. A Los Angeles native, Lisa holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Princeton University and a Masters of Landscape Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. She is the recipient of the 2013 Federal Energy and Water Management Award from the US Department of Energy and the 2014 Award of Excellence from the Los Angeles Business Council.
Lisa successfully developed filming and special event policies that generated in excess of $4 million annually. She oversaw numerous award-winning capital improvement projects, including the Anthony C. Beilenson Interagency Visitor Center for the Santa Monica Mountains, Vista Hermosa Natural Park, Pacoima Wash Natural Park, Marsh Park and the Los Angeles River Greenway.
