In general, the proposed improvements consist of median modifications for approximately 2 miles on Pacific Coast Highway between Webb Way and Puerco Canyon Road. The improvements include modifying and narrowing the existing curbed median width along with appurtenant work including but not limited to providing additional outside shoulder width , new paved median with stamped concrete, pavement removal, asphalt pavement, concrete curb, AC dike, bike refuge lanes, striping and signage, pavement markers, new storm drain systems, irrigation, landscaping, adjusting utility covers, potholing, temporary traffic control, and all other appurtenant work included and shown in the Contract Documents and Specifications.
