[ARCHIVED] Temporary Prohibition on Gatherings with Other Households, Playgrounds Must Close Nov. 30

TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS EFFECTIVE NOV. 30, 2020

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health announced a temporary Revised  Order with additional safety measures to slow the spread of COVID-19 amidst the current strong surge in cases and hospitalizations, including restrictions on public and private gatherings, and closure of playgrounds, effective Monday, November 30 through December 20, 2020.

• All public and private gatherings with people from other household are prohibited, except for faith-based services and protests, which are constitutionally protected.

• Occupancy limits at certain businesses and requirement for all employees and customers to wear face coverings and maintain physical distancing. (Per the Nov. 22 Order, all in-person dining, outdoor and indoor, is temporarily prohibited at restaurants, bars, breweries and wineries in LA County).

• Outdoor recreation activities all require face coverings (except for swimming) and physical distancing.

• Playgrounds must be closed (except playgrounds at childcare and schools). Malibu City parks remain open.
