The Harry Barovsky Memorial Youth Commission consists of student appointees who are in grades 7-12 and either reside or attend school in Malibu. The Commission may make recommendations to the City Council on matters concerning the City’s programs and projects that serve young people.

Applications will be accepted February 1 through March 25, 2022 at 4:00 PM for the 2022-2023 Harry Barovsky Memorial Youth Commission. Apply online by March 25, 2022 and submit your filmed interview by April 22, 2022. A maximum of 25 applicants will be appointed by City Council. Applicants must reside, or go to school, in City limits and be in grades 7 through 12 in the 2022-2023 academic school year. Contact Kate Gallo with any questions.
