Points of Information Distribution Demonstration
Saturday, September 14, 2019
One of a series of events and activities scheduled in September for National Preparedness Month 2019
Emergency Points of Distribution and Information Stations will be places where community members can go during emergencies to obtain basic emergency supplies (water, N95 masks, donated items, etc.) and to obtain critical information.
On Saturday, September 14, staff from the City’s Public Safety Office and members of the Malibu Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) will demonstrate the Emergency Points of Distribution and Information Stations in the parking lot at City Hall. Community members are invited to stop by any time during those hours to review the set-up, provide feedback, and obtain emergency preparedness information.
