Contractors State License Board Reconstruction Workshop for Contractors

Assemblymember Richard Bloom and the Contractors State License Board (CSLB) invite contractors to a Free Woolsey Wildfire Reconstruction Contractors Workshop.
Representatives from the CSLB, Los Angeles County Department of Public Works, and the City of Malibu will provide information and answer questions related to:
- Local building requirements
- Contract requirements / change orders
- HomeImprovement Salesperson (HIS) requirements
- How to get workers' compensation insurance
- How to make changes to your contractor's license
- Bond options
- Mechanics lien rules
- Preventing complaints
A second workshop formatted for residents, but open to all, will be offered after this workshop from 1:00 to 2:30 PM.
