PCH northbound lanes & shoulder closed Chautauqua to Temescal for night work 7/29-9/28 #malibu
A Los Angeles County Waterworks District No. 29 water main project in Pacific Palisades will include closure of the northbound lane and shoulder of PCH between Chautauqua Blvd and Temescal Cyn Rd for night work from July 29 through September 28. Work hours will be seven nights/week between 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM through Labor Day weekend, and from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM after Labor Day.
Anticipated Construction Dates: July 29, 2019 through September 28, 2019
Work Hours (Seven Nights per Week):
-- Summer Hours (between Memorial Day and Labor Day): 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM
-- Non-Summer Hours (After Labor Day weekend): 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM
Traffic Lane Impacts:
The first 260-foot portion (of the 1500-foot project area) will require the Northbound #2 and #3 lanes and shoulder to be closed.
The remaining 1240 feet of the project will have the Northbound #3 travel lane and shoulder closed. The trench will be within the PCH shoulder.
Minimal traffic impacts on PCH are anticipated since work will be conducted during nighttime, off-peak hours. There will be no disruption to water service for Malibu residents.
