Beginning Tango workshop




Learn one of the most elegant and romantic styles of all  the ballroom dances - Tango! The dance workshop will include exercises in balance, coordination, and body posture then continue with navigation on the dance floor, musicality, and classic Tango patterns. Singles and couples welcome. Refreshments will be served.

Be inspired and learn how to live a healthy life. Teens will have the opportunity to try classes at Pure Barre Malibu and 5 Point Yoga. Wellness vendors will be available to answer questions relating to healthy habits, healthy food options, and more. Parent signature waivers required.  

Sunset Yoga

Sunset yoga is designed to assimilate the body and soul to the setting sun. Participants will practice pranayama (breathing techniques) and asanas (yoga postures suited for all levels), culminating with a 10-15 minute meditation and the setting sun. Bring a yoga mat and dress in layers.

Create a unique paper flower wreath that can be used as a hanging wreath to grace your front door, a crown for an upcoming festival, or a picture frame featuring a special memory. Floral templates and tools will be available to make flowers come to life during this creative workshop. This is the perfect opportunity to create and share a unique gift for Mother's Day. Select a pretty color palette of paper, grab your scissors, and enjoy!





Put on your favorite pair of blue jeans and mosey on down to learn the Texas Two Step. This popular dance style is one of the easiest styles to learn as it has a very natural, rhythmic style. The workshop will concentrate on the fundamentals, followed by popular underarm turns and more classic patterns. Singles and couples welcome. Refreshments will be served.  

Healthy & Mindful Eating habits

Learn simple and effective strategies to turn food into a friend and stop the internal struggle. The workshop is about developing an empowering a way of life and bringing awareness to an important area of eating. Students will enjoy healthy cooking and eating tips to reach their goals and feel great.

Making music together is a powerful, unifying, and creative force. This workshop is designed to provide the drummer with the essentials to be a confident contributor in a drum circle. The instructor will cover drumming skills, rhythm, and balance that create a foundation to grow as a musician and ultimately develop the skill set to play in a group setting. The demonstration is followed by a class that begins on April 24.   

Emerging from the Slush: How to Get Your Short Story Published

Have you ever wanted to get your short story published in a magazine or literary journal? Instructor, Robert Kerbeck will teach students the basics of story lines, editing, writing techniques, and more. Mr. Kerbeck has had over a dozen short stories published in the last year and wants to pass on his knowledge to you.
