All non-essential City programs & Events have been canceled until April 30 as a Coronavirus precaution. This includes all City of Malibu Community Services Department Programs, Rentals, Sports Leagues, and Special Events. “There is no cause for panic and I understand the inconvenience that this presents, but the City’s number one priority is protecting public safety,” said Mayor Karen Farrer. “We must do everything possible to be prepared, follow public health officials’ recommended precautions to prevent the spread of Coronavirus, and protect our vulnerable populations.”
The City’s Dial-A-Ride program will continue to operate, and Dial-A-Ride vehicles are regularly disinfected.
The Senior Center will remain closed until further notice. However, staff will still be available to assist any seniors in the community that need assistance. For assistance, call the Senior Center at 310-456-2489 ext. 357.

The City's Community Services Department produces a variety of special events each year. Events, which are designed to serve the whole community, include family-friendly events, events that celebrate Malibu's history and heritage, cultural and arts events, and holiday celebrations.
