Big Rock Mesa Landslide Maintenance District No. 98-1

The City hosted a Zoom live stream meeting on October 6, 2020 and the City's consultant presented an update on the maintenance and monitoring of the Big Rock Mesa Landslide Maintenance Assessment District No. 98-1.  The City's consultant also presented an update to the Council on November 9, 2020.

The Big Rock Mesa Landslide Maintenance District provides administration and maintenance services for approximately 327 properties in the Big Rock Mesa area. Property owners within each district pay for the services received through annual assessments levied against the properties by the Los Angeles County Assessor’s Office.

The program’s administrative and maintenance services include the installation and maintenance of dewatering wells, monitoring water levels and slide activities, and preparation of annual assessment and geology reports.
