Winter 2020-2021 Operating Hours

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Malibu Community Pool located at Malibu High School is open with limited hours and capacity.  All Lap Swim use is by reservation only at MalibuCity.org/Register, no drop-ins accepted.

All Los Angeles County physical distancing requirements and health guidelines must be followed. Participants are required to wear masks at all times when not in the water. Health Certification Questionnaires and temperature checks will be required for all participants entering the facility.  Please review the Safety Guidelines below.

Pool Safety Guidelines

All pool use is by reservation only. No drop-ins will be accepted. Lanes for lap swimmers will be allocated as one (1) swimmer per lane. Participants will be assigned a lane for a 45-minute lap swim. Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your start time to allow for entry processing. Participants must promptly exit the facility at the 45-minute mark to allow for physical distancing and cleaning procedures before the next lap swim group arrives.

Registration

Registration will be available one week in advance at MalibuCity.org/Register

Registration opens each Sunday at 8:00 AM for the following week.

Pool Facility Use Fees will be paid in person upon arrival. 

  • $2 per child (Ages 5-17)
  • $3 per adult (Ages 18-54)
  • Seniors, Free (Ages 55+). 

Payment is due upon check-in. No credit cards accepted - exact change preferred.
