COVID-19 UPDATES FOR CITY PARKS
Malibu Bluffs Park and Skate Park Temporarily Closed
Due to current COVID-19 conditions, and to protect the health and safety of visitors and City staff, the Malibu Bluffs Park and the Skate Park are temporarily closed. We hope to reopen these facilities as soon as possible, and apologize for the inconvenience this may cause to our park users and local skaters.
Due to the closure, we have suspended reservations through our skate park online booking system. Please check back soon for updates regarding the expected reopening of Malibu Bluffs Park and Skate Park.
LIMITED REOPENING OF CITY PARKS
The City of Malibu reopened the following parks with physical distancing requirements and safety guidelines:
- Legacy Park
- Las Flores Creek Park
- Trancas Canyon Park and Dog Park
- Malibu Equestrian Park
Playgrounds, gathering areas, athletic fields, athletic facilities, and indoor facilities remain closed.
Please make sure to plan your visit accordingly and remember to pack face coverings, hand sanitizer, water and sunscreen. Portable restrooms are available at Trancas Canyon Park ONLY.
Patrons are asked to adhere to the following safety guidelines and physical distancing requirements when utilizing parks:
- Do not enter the park if you are feeling sick or have a fever
- Maintain physical distancing of at least six feet at all times
- The use of face coverings is strongly recommended
- No group or team athletics are permitted
- Head outdoors with members of your household only
