Parent and Me Programs require adult participation, including biological parents, adoptive parents, guardians, stepparents, grandparents, or other parenting relationships. Programs allow adults to interact and nurture relationships during playful yet structured programs. All classes promote bonding while helping children develop cognitive, social, and motor skills and an opportunity to learn, play and grow together.
The City of Malibu Community Services Department partners with the Boys and Girls Club of Malibu (BGCM) to offer outdoor programs. BGCM members and non-BGCM members are welcome to participate in the programs.
Programs take place at Malibu Elementary School and Webster Elementary School from 3:00 - 4:00 PM, three days a week.
BGCM members: To register for a workshop, please contact

Programs for adults provide opportunities for social interaction, developing a hobby, fitness, sports, or improving a skill. The Department offers one-day workshops on a variety of topics, including health and wellness, crafts, cooking, and writing. The workshops give participants a chance to learn new skills or hobbies in a brief one-day class.
