Veterans Day Ceremony Sunday, November 11, at Legacy Park
The Malibu community is invited to attend the 2012 Malibu Veterans Day Ceremony to be held on Sunday, November 11, at Legacy Park. The event will commence at 11:00 am with a parade of colors, followed by remarks from veterans who have served in the past, as well as active service personnel.
The annual ceremony, co-sponsored by the Malibu Chamber of Commerce and the City of Malibu, is intended to honor and thank all who have served in any branch of the United States Armed Forces.
The Veterans Day Committee, hosted by the Malibu Chamber of Commerce, has selected a number of presentations, with donations from local businesses sponsoring the celebration. From stirring remembrances and military exhibits and tributes to distinguished veterans, the celebration has observed this special day for the last 13 years.
