2017 Malibu Teen Music and Art Festival

The 2017 Malibu Teen Music and Art Festival will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 6:00 PM at Malibu City Hall. The festival will include music performances, an art gallery and awards for the top visual and musical artists.  Open to students in middle school and high school.   Application Information

Bands: Deadline to submit an application is Friday, February 24.

Visual Artists:  Deadline to submit artwork and an application is Friday, March 10.  The theme of the festival is "music". Art work must be submitted March 6-10 at Malibu City Hall, Parks and Recreation Department (23825 Stuart Ranch Road, 1st Floor). Artwork will not be offered for sale.

Community Service Opportunities

The City has a variety of community service opportunities available for teens to assist at events, tiny tot programs, senior citizen programs, environmental programs, and more.

Volunteers must complete and sign the Volunteer Registration Form prior to assisting the City. Submit the Online Volunteer Form or print the Volunteer Registration Packet. For additional information on volunteering with the City, contact Kristin Riesgo at 310-456-2489, ext. 350.

Library Teen Advisory Board
Students in middle school and high school are invited to participate in the Malibu Library Teen Advisory Board. Students gain community service hours for their participation.
