Teen Programs
2017 Malibu Music and Art Festival
The 2017 Malibu Music and Art Festival will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Malibu City Hall. The Art Exhibit will be open 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and the music portion of the event will begin at 6:00 PM in the Civic Theater. All participants will be recognized. A reception for musicians and visual artists will take place from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Application Information

Musicians (Grades 6-8):
Deadline to submit an application is Friday, March 10.

Visual Artists (Grades K-12):
Deadline to submit artwork and an application is Friday, March 17. Artwork may be submitted at Malibu City Hall, Community Services Dept (23825 Stuart Ranch Rd, Lower Floor). Artwork will not be offered for sale.

Community Service Opportunities

The City has a variety of community service opportunities available for teens to assist at events, tiny tot programs, senior citizen programs, environmental programs, and more.

Volunteers must complete and sign the Volunteer Registration Form prior to assisting the City. Submit the Online Volunteer Form or print the Volunteer Registration Packet. For additional information on volunteering with the City, contact Kristin Riesgo at 310-456-2489, ext. 350.

Library Teen Advisory Board
Students in middle school and high school are invited to participate in the Malibu Library Teen Advisory Board. Students gain community service hours for their participation.
